June Challenge kit

Come on in and pick up the new Challenge kit. The challenge is to take at least a piece of everything in the kit and make a project. Bring it back into the store before the end of the month and customers will vote on their favorite and the winner will receive a $5 gift certificate.

June Mini-book

Junes mini book is ready!!!!! Full of different techniques, and manly items. It makes a perfect fathers day gift but can also be for any man in your life (son, brother, uncle etc.) Available now for $10 supplies limited.

New Papers

We are getting more new papers in the store These are from Cosmo Cricket and along with three double sided papers there is also a sheet of strips, a sheet of journal cards and an 8x8 pack with many different designs, some you cannot get in 12x12.


Remember: our diecut center is only $15 a year and we have added many new ones including paper dolls. Many of the new sizzix dies are also on sale for 40% off. Come check our table for bargains. New 2 Page Spreads

There are many new 2 page spreads for sale. This is one. Many people like the 2 page spreads for many reasons, maybe you are behind and need fillers or you don't scrapbook and you would like the look of a handmade layout book, some just like they way they look and think it would be a great addition to their album. Whatever the reason, remember that I will also add a name, date, place or special words to your purchase. Don't see one done that you would like for a certain occasion, I will do special orders with colors or picture sizes to your needs. The page spreads are $6.95 ea. Additional items can be added, I try to leave room for journaling or other items you wish to add to make it your own.



I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe weekend. The sun was very nice to see, I even was able to get some gardening done on Sunday(I am so far behind this year). Most of our yard is garden with a few grassy spots and patio's. We love to sit in the evenings with a fire in the outdoor fireplace and watch the sun go down behind the trees and see what new flowers are blooming. Many of the photo's I take of flowers are in our yard. We are hoping to put in a water feature this summer, no ponds as we have many small children in the neighborhood and we have living fences and open arbors for people to come visit. Have a great week! May Challenge kits Sold out

The may challenge kits have been sold out! Looking forward to seeing the finished projects and don't forget to come in between June 1 and 10 to vote for your favorite. June 1 we will also have our new challenge kits available, get yours before they are all gone.
Many projects and pages were completed at the crop on Saturday night. I myself completed 5 pages. Everyone enjoyed themselves and met some new friends. Look for our crops coming in June. Join in the fun.

The June Calendar is Out!

Hello Everyone,

Just want to let you know that the June calendar is here, come on in and get yours. I am working on the Dad mini book and you can see it at the store, you can sign up to make one any time. Three have already signed up before ever seeing it. We have also had 7 people get their challenge kits and three have turned in their entries, only one week left to get yours and turn it in for the competition. I had a lot of fun on my trip, it was very hot in Winthrop, we went hiking up at Sun Mountain Lodge, beautiful. Pics to show soon.

We still have spaces for the crops this weekend, join us for fun and friendship while working on your projects.

A FUN WEEKEND

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the blog. I will try to keep you updated on as much as possible. This weekend I am getting away to Winthrop with my husband and some good friends. We planned this trip before we opened the store. Bonnie will be there on Friday and Katri on Saturday. They will do thier best to help you. On the right side of the blog at the bottom is a slideshow of some personal pics if you are interested, I will change them periodically with new ones, they are of family, friends, places I visit and things I love to take pics of that go into my scrapbooks. I love to take pics of flowers, waterfalls, sunsets and lighthouses. Some of my travels I seek out these items. A couple of weekends ago I went to California for some training classes. Took 2 classes with Tim Holtz and a class with Jenny Bowlin, and many others, it was a great learning experience for me. Some pics later when I get back. I have ordered Crackle Paints, they were so much fun and some grungeboard. The crackle paints are great on chipboard and really make nice additions to your cards and layouts. You can try them out at the store as soon as they come in. Everyone have a great weekend and talk to you soon.

May Challenge Kit

This May Challenge Kit is now available in the store for only $5.00. Pick yours up and create a layout or project of your choice (no larger than 24x12=2 page layout). Use this kit as your base and add as desired to create your own individual project such as a card, mini-book, layout, or use your imagination.

Then bring your creation or a picture back to the store by the end of the month (May 31) to be entered into a contest to win a gift certificate of $5.00.


Winner will be announced June 10. Be sure to come into the store to see all the entries and vote for your choice.

Happy Mother's Day

The Mother's Day mini-book has been a tremendous success with 38 books sold and made.

Thank-you to everyone who made one. Look for a new mini-book each monthand also check out our class schedule for other projects. Can't make it for that particular day or time, talk to me about an alternate time that is good for both of us.

NEW Daisy Bucket Papers

The new Daisy Bucket papers are in the store. They look and feel almost like they are cloth, the new ribbons are paper and they tear and curl. Come on in and see a sample. This is just one of several collections.

Lila's continues Sale

Hello Everyone,

Many of you came in on Saturday and many of you could not make in on that particular day so I am extending the sale thru the end of the week. There are still many bargains to be had, up to 40%. Bev and I are also working hard at getting a blog up and running hopefully by next week. I will let you all know as soon as we have it ready. National Scrapbook Day

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that Saturday May 3 is National Scrapbook Day and in observance of this day I will be running specials throughout the store up to 40% off. Many door prizes will be given throughout the day as well. Come join us for the savings refreshments and prizes.

Our first mini book has been a great hit. If haven't seen it, you still have time to get in one of the classes for it. I will be doing a different mini book every month. Check out our many other classes like our two page layout class and take home a page with the layout to keep in a folder to add to others for ideas always ready. For those who have not been in the last month we have added an extra room. The store is growing! We get new items in weekly. Check us out!!!
