Have you tried the Tim Holz Crackle Paint? It's really fun! And it's so thick that you can use it over any base color.

A bit late, but come buy your own papers for the sketch, or buy a kit to make a layout like this one (both LOs use the exact same papers, or could make many other versions as well).
I love the whole thing but I especially like how you used the mesh vertically from edge to edge! I bought some at Lila's but it's just sitting there in my ribbon box with all my other ribbons......
