Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone and a huge Thank-you for supporting Lila's this past year. We are very happy to still be able to keep our doors open to help serve the Everett and surrounding areas.
Looking forward to having the store open Saturday after all the counting is done. A big Thank-you to those that came yesterday and those coming today to help me in this huge undertaking. Elisa Thank-you for showing me how to do the inventory in the computer so we do not have to count sooooo much next year.

Just a note about the Holiday hours here at the store, We will be closing at 5pm Christmas eve if you need that last minute Christmas gift card. Also we will be closed the 30th 31st and the 1st for inventory, if you wish to help me count come any time on the 30th and join some others and snacks will be provided. Any amount of time is appreciated.

Friday's Quickie Page

Our Layout this week features "The Lights of Christmas". Do you go look at lights with your family? A Family trip to Warm Beach or Zoo Lights. Maybe like us a trip around neighborhoods with hot chocolate and popcorn and a carload to look at the lights every Christmas Eve. So join me Friday to put this page together or take with you for those great lights photo's.

Fall Fun Sketch Layout!

Come into the store and Lila will teach you how to make a similar layout out of any papers you choose! When you buy the paper she will give you the sketch to keep. Hold onto those sketches, I use my sketch book all the time (if you see me, Melanie, at a crop just ask to see it, I won't leave home without it!).

Do you love this layout just the way it is? Lila will have a couple kits of these papers, embellishments and the die cut "Fall Fun" title in just a few days.

Friday's Quickie Page

"Goofin' Around" great pages for those pics of silliness. I am sure everyone has some of those.. We are limited to 12 layouts for Goofy, and they are only $10 for the set. Come in and make your 2 page layout on Friday. After that they will be $12.95

Join us on Saturday for our 1st ever Craft Bazaar and show your support to all the crafters here. The coffee and tea will be ready and cookies to go with them. There will be a large selection of crafts including papercrafting items like cards and altered items and items like handmade jewelry and scarves, beaded items, as well as candy coated pretzels and many other items.

Tuesday's Card

Still needs some Christmas cards? Well add this one to your collection. Learn how to cut paper to form other items. This one we made small triangles into a tree, and outlined it with a gold pen.

We are having a craft sale here on Saturday, we still have room if you want to sell some of your homemade items, or come shop here Saturday and find some new treasures from the vendors between 10 and 4pm.

This cute Baby page can be for boy or girl because you can change the ribbon. The layout is only $7 for the 2 pages, we only made so many so come in on Friday to get your kit.

We are having a craft sale here at Lila's on Dec. 12 and if you are interested in a table they are only $5. If you want to buy handmade crafts come in and buy from our local crafters.

Just a note about the Holiday's. Of coarse we will be closed for Christmas, but we will also be closing at 5pm on Christmas eve, so if you need gift or gift certificates we have them here, Want to leave a wish list for your loved ones fill one out here.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving

Hello everyone, did you have a great Thanksgiving? I sure hope so. I did, my daughter came for breakfast and my husband made us bisquits and gravy with scrambled eggs. Later we went to our son Aarons inlaws and had dinner with them all and got to play with our grandson Ethan.

Friday we are going to continue our sale in case you did not get a chance to come on Wednesday. Tired of the shopping, there is a crop Friday evening if you want to join us and get some projects done. It is free with a $10 purchase that day.

We are having a huge sale Wednesday with a full tables of items at 50 and 40% off. All patterned paper is 10% off and all Halloween at 20% and many other items through out the store at discount prices. There will be coffee , hot tea and cookies. Best Creations

We have a new company line of papers that are great they are from Best Creations. Here are the new Halloween we have ordered. They look even better in person than here. Many of the glitter papers are now retailing for $2 but we will continue to offer these great papers for only $1.50.

It is great being back form my trip, I had a wonderful time and sorry to anyone who came by, we had been posting for the last few months and putting on the newsletters and calendars, I had a sign on the door but with all the moisture it had come off and was on the floor. Hello from the Keys

Hello Elisa and everyone out there, yes I am having a great time and getting some sun and relaxation. I will be refueled and ready to get back to opening new boxes of stuff and designing and of course as everyonr knows, NEVER SITTING DOWN! Well and don't worry I have taken time to eat also, the food is soooo good here. I will show all the pics when I get back I took lots, but will only scrap the ones that tell my story, or I will never get done. A few of my favorite things...

While Lila is on vacation hopefully enjoying the sun and finally receiving their luggage 2 days into their trip I am taking it upon myself to hijack the blog.

Today I bring you a few of my favorite things...

Dream Street Double Sided Pattern Papers


Aren't they just adorable?? I just adore them and think they will be great for any fall pages or cards you may have on your list of things to scrap.

Next up is the amazing new Petaloo flowers that were delivered to the shop late last week. I know a few of you grabbed up a couple but there are lots to choose from. Here are 2 of my favorite packages.


The color are just gorgeous and will complete any project you have going on. There are several different color combo's to choose from so next time your in be sure to check them out.

Last up are these amazing stamps from Inkadinkado.... I just love the leaf shapes etc of them and the price is right at under $2. They won't last long but they aren't the only fall stamp set to choose from.

If your not sure about the Inkadinkadoo stamps... I will be the first one to tell you that they stamp amazing. They pick up color from your ink pads without any running and the image is a nice crisp image. If you have been taking my card classes then you already know how amazing Inkadinkadoo stamps are because that is what you have been using...

Speaking of my card classes. There is a Christmas Card Class on Monday Oct 26th. If you want to sign up for the class call the store and leave a msg with your name so we can add you to the list or come on by the store on Monday and see the cards in person and sign up. Here are 3 of the 5 cards you will be making plus you will make something else to go along with them.

potluck Monday crops

Everyone is enjoying the day making new friends, seeing old friends and working on their crafts, some cards, some scrapbooking. What a great lunch it was. Think about joining us on Monday's.

Look to your left on the screen. We have a new section for what's new and we are going to add something new daily. The new item will not go out until the day we post. If we run out of a particular item we will also do our best to get you more just let me know you want one. W will also display the price of the item.

Friday's Quickie Page

Friday's page is "Soccer". We have the silhouettes in boy and girl as well as paper doll boy and girls where you can choose the jersey, hair, and body color. Each 2 page layout is only $7 on Friday, and that includes the adhesive when put together at the store. I still remember the day's when my son was in soccer for 9 years, all the games that we went to and lots of photo's to pick my favorites from.

STASH BASH This weekend!!!

Saturday we are having our next Stash bash. What is a stash bash? This is where customers are bringing their goods they no longer want and you get the bargains. The store will be having a special also of 20% off all patterned paper, and 10% off all ribbons. Got items you want to get rid of to help clean out your stash, give me a call and get your codes to price your items.
Last Monday we had another full house for Elisa's card class. Everyone truly loves the cards she has been creating for us, we are blessed to have her as a teacher for our store. She will be teaching a Fall Card class on the 12th and there is still room. The 1st 13 people who sign up get the stamp set to make other cards with them, so get on the list early. Below is a photo from the last class.

Today's card is one of those cards that can be used for a variety of wishes depending on what you put on the tag. The pattern can also be a good one for a man card using another embellishment other than flowers and using a manly paper.

Friday's Quickie Page

Been to the petting zoo? Maybe to the fair visiting the animals. This page is a great way to display those photo's. We have done all the hard work for you, with the help of Marlene and sandy who come and help me put pieces together so that there is a quickie page for you. Want to put all those pieces together yourself, let me know ahead of time and we can have kits where everything is not glued together for you. kits are still only $7 for a 2 page layout on a first come first serve basis.

Sketch day!

When I scrap I like to fit a lot of pictures on my layouts! If you are like me then you definately want the sketch for this 2 page spread. Even cutting it down to a one page layout will help you scrap a number of pictures without being too cluttered. To get this sketch just come into the store and buy any papers you want to use with the sketch. There will be kits for this exact project available later in the week.

Hi everyone... Lila is out of town so I am taking it upon myself to hijack the blog and post a few of my favorite things that I found walking through the store... hehe Be sure to stop in the store and say hi to Katri...

First up is the Bo Bunny pattern papers from the Delilah collection. These are amazing fall papers that will bring fall colors to any layout, cards or projects that you have going on.


Next I bring you a sampling of Bo Bunny flowers. Lila has several different sets in the store and the colors of the flowers are truly wonderful and these will add that little extra something to any project.


Last but not least is the amazing Bazzill swiss dot cardstock that is sure to make your project pop. Lila has this in white, blue and black.
Here is a card I made with the Bazzill white swiss dot cardstock. You can find everything in on this card in Lila's except for the ribbon but Lila has an amazing ribbon wall where you will find others like it or close to it.

Monday Sept 14th Halloween card class. There are still a few slots left in the class $15 you will make 5 cards and 5 treat bag toppers. Photos of the cards and bags are on the left sidebar of the blog. The stamp sets are all spoken for already so that is why the class is now only $15 because you will be sharing the stamp sets with a few other ladies who enjoy making cards just like you do. Stop in the store and sign up before the class starts Monday at 5pm. Yes that means you can still sign up at 4:59 on Monday..hehe We won't turn anyone away and as always there will be raffles... I love to give stuff away.
