What a successful day!!

I just have to say Congratulations to Lila for a wonderfully successful event today!

I just got home! I am exhausted, but so exhilarated by the day at Lila's store. How exciting it was to see all the activity there. I didn't get to arrive til about noon. The store was already busy with a demo by Elisa, a designer from Clear Scraps. She brought samples of Clear Scraps acrylics and showed us how to emboss them and then use alcohol inks on them. The samples turned out beautifully. We now have them hanging in the front window where the sun catches the colors. Everyone was excited to watch her work.

Gwen showed everyone a different way to use alcohol inks by blending them on glossy papers. She also brought the new metallic inks to use. They were quite a hit. The samples she left are so beautiful. All the colors together are pretty amazing.

Margaret demo'd a tree punch and showed customers how to make a luminary. Everyone got quite creative with it, and each one was just a bit different. It was a beautiful item for everyone to take home.

There were times the aisles were so crowded it was hard to get thru. It really was a fun day. Lila planned it out very well. There was always something to see or do. Plus there seemed to be a drawing going on all the time. note: Make sure you check back in this week to see if you won something.

Overall, I just want to say what a great day it was. What great activities there. What a great first year it's been! Let's hope for lots more!

Congrats Lila!!!

Bev
