Scrappy Style is Shabby Chic/Vintage
I am a mother to 4 adventurous children and a proud Navy wife. I am originally from the great state of Illinois. I started scrapbooking when I had my first child in a way to keep our families up to date with the everyday things our children do. It has been 19 years now and I am still hooked. I love to create cards and scrap the everyday adventures along with the usual family and holiday events. I enjoy teaching classes especially card and technique classes. I have been lucky enough to work for several scrapbooking companies and have been published in several different magazines. When I'm not spending time with the hubby and kids you can find me creating in my scrap room or curled up with great book.

A crazy busy mom of two, I’ve been scrapbooking for 11+ years, defined as it is now. I’ve always done scrapbooks and crafts, now my skills have simply been refined. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to many countries so much of my scrapping involves photos from around the world. In the last 7 years my focus has definitely shifted to bring in my son and daughter and all their adventures and even the simpler moments in life. I’m always on the go and I truly value the moments of serenity that I have in my scrappy place. I’m always looking to try new techniques and projects but always seem to come back to my love of 12x12 layouts. Some of my favorite products to work with come from Doodlebug, SEI, and American Crafts. I’ve been fortunate to work on several design teams and have been with Lila’s for the past 18 month, most recently as DT co-coordinator and designer.

Scrappy Style is Homemade
A little over a year I was complaining to my husband that I didn't like our daughters baby book and that I thought I'd be able to do a better job myself...So the beginning of my scrapbooking adventure began.
I'm a mother of five. Four teenage boys and one very gorgeous little 2 year old girl. Since she was my inspiration to start scraping she is my main focus when I create my mini masterpieces. I make my own embellishments usually inspired by the paper line I'm working with. My favorite line is the one that inspires me.
I started scrapping as a way to connect with my mother-in-law about three years ago after many years of being crafty, particularly in the kitchen. Most of my projects end up being gifts and I love to make things for people! My favorite products are from Ranger, My Mind's Eye, and 7Gypsies. My "day job" is writing and I'm finally working on my first novel. I've been married a little over a year and my husband is a naval officer, so we're brand new to the Everett area! I am so excited to start working with the design team and teaching classes, and am thrilled to have found Lila's!
