Friday's Quickie Page

Did you have a picnic over Memorial weekend? maybe you have one planned or will plan one now with this page. Well I don't think this one will last long, get yours early, the last few weeks we have been selling out. Each week we make 10 kits. The hair cooor on the kids can be changed as well as the color of the child just ask.

Sketch Layout Day!

It's Sketch Layout day again!

Come into Lila's today and buy the papers (any papers; for a baby, a girl, your favorite sport, whatever sort of layout you need to make with roughly this many pictures) to make your own version of the below layout and you will receive a copy of the sketch. You can also see Melanie's other example featuring seven pictures and lots of hidden journaling. Sketches are a flexible way to jumpstart your creativity, come try one!

After today there will be kits available to make this layout using these supplies.

New items

Here is a new collection for baby girls. All pink and white with some creme designs on the backs. Some of the papers are white with flocking and embossed designs, comes with matching stickers and tabs. Baby boy will be out soon.

Wednesday Make A Tag

Today's tag matches the card yesterday. if you did not get a chance to make the card the tag also works well for a birthday page layout, or a gift tag by writing the to and from on the back. This tag is free to make today.

Tuesday's Card

Tuesday's Card is Birthday, the front of the caed reads "Best wishes for a Happy Birthday" This card is great for anyone at any age. Remember you make make 2 cards without notice and more if you give me notice and I can prep them for you ahead of time. Cards are only $1 ea. with an envelope. Make your card Tuesday.

Friday's Quickie Page

Friday's page is "Graduation" There are many colors that you can choose from to give it the personal touch for the school colors you need. Below are some of the examples, we have made a few with these colors but if you need a different color call Lila at 355-2500 and let me know if you need boy or girl what color hair, and somewhat what style hair and what color gowns you need and I will have it ready for you on Friday. If you have more time on Friday you can cut out what colors you need I will have everything out for that.

Wednesday Make A Tag

Come on in today to make this fun tag FREE. We make a new tag each week, keep them on a ring or use them on cards or pages, either way they are fun to make. Remember there is no specific time, any time today, it just takes a few minutes even a lunch break you can have this completed.

Tuesday's Card

Today we made card to say thanks for our Memorial day card to be given to someone who served is serving in the military today. This is a great way to remember all those that gave so many sacrifices for our Country and our Freedom. Come on in and make your card today.

Sketch Layout Day!

Have you been to the Tulip Festival this year? This layout was designed with those pictures in mind; with minimal patterned paper so the beautiful pictures can shine! If you don't have tulip pictures this versatile sketch can be used with any papers you choose to make a layout you will love.

On sketch layout day you will receive a scrapbook sketch to help you build this layout if you buy the papers to try the sketch (for this one, 4 sheets of cardstock and 3 patterned papers).

Remember, sketches are just a tool to use to get started. Here I used the same basic structure, but increased all the square sizes to better fit my photos.

Today's Free Make a Tag

Today's tag is a journal tag. It can be used on a card, scrapbook page or even a book marker depending on what you put on the journal lines. If you don't want the journal lines leave them off. I used a scallop punch from Fiskar and Memento's rich cocoa dye ink for the stamps and distressing. come join us today anytime and make your free tag.

Tuesday's Card

This card is made using a cut out from one of our Sassafras Lass papers, a little ribbon, skittles and a little imagination. Thanks Elisa for coming out with this great design.

Mom, she is so important to us all, this is the perfect page to dedicate to her whether she is still with us or not. The cool blue tones with the white and black, graceful ribbon, flowers with buttons all in coordinating colors complete this layout and still room to add your own touches to make it more personalized. Wednesday Make A Tag

Today's tag matches the card for Mothers Day that we did yesterday, only we added a flower and button. Such a little thing that makes such a big difference. We all love adding those little things to our cards and pages. never used buttons before, come see how to add them to your collection for that little, big difference.

Those of you who requested the Technique Tuesday posies stamp from the Congratulations card a couple of weeks ago, they are in. I have them behind the counter and will hold them for a week. Thank you for your patience. Lila

Fun was had by all on Saturday, many prizes given away, make n takes made and the stash bash was a hit with lots brought in and lots sold. Thyank-you to Sandy and Judy for helping with set up on Friday night and To Elisa and Miranda for helping with the make n takes. Thank you also to Jeri Grazier for showing us all those wonderful card ideas. thank-you Joe for cooking the hotdogs, everyone seemed to enjoy them, and last but never least thank-you all for coming in on Saturday and spending time with us here at Lila's.
