National Scrapbook Day on Saturday the 2nd
I am writing to let you now about what is going on Saturday. We are having Jeri Grazier coming between 12- 3
Putting on the Ritz, Issaquah WA, Designer: Jeri Grazier
Jeri says "Spend a few minutes with me and explore new ways to put together your cards and scrapbook pages. With a great stamp, terrific paper and a few tools, you can make an original piece of art. We will explore the image, decipher the best way to cut the paper to maximize the story and make something truly original. We will explore the elements of color, line, placement, visual imagery and accents that take a card from a "sound bite" to "the rest of the story". "
Along with Jeri coming we will be having another stash bash and from what i see there will be lots of great bargains that customers are unloading at great prices. This will be all day.
In addition we will be having a couple of make -n takes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon also plenty of door prizes and some neat bags from Karen Foster with goodies from other companies in them.
From 11-3 my husband will be there cooking hotdogs, so join us for lunch and a good time.
Please remember we do Open at 10am and close at 4pm on Saturday. See you there.

Re-Grand Opening.
It was a great day! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the store. I know I had fun. I hope you all did to!
Do you remember how small the other space was? It worked. There was plenty of product there. We had crops and fun. The store grew and more customers came in. Oh my! What a difference this new space has made! Customers are coming in more often. Crops are growing. We see new faces almost every day! There were lots of things to celebrate yesterday!
We had some great Guest Designers come in. Elisa Kammerdiener is a Designer with Clear Scraps. She showed us how to emboss and decorate acrylics. There was a lot of excitement as everyone got their own piece of shaped acrylic to emboss and play with. Her designs are beautiful! Elisa is now part of our store Design Team. She has designed March's Mini-Book. You'll want to sign up for that one. Then just wait til you see what she is designing for April!! Everyone will want this one! Make sure you check out all the acrylics that Lila now has in the store. You can do some amazing things with them
Aren't these flowers beautiful? They are made with Bazzil paper and punches.
Susan Tierney Cockburn is a flower artist. She designs for Punch Bunch. The flowers she creates look so real you want to pick them up and put them to your nose to check their fragrance. She uses a variety of punches and some chalks or markers for most of her flowers. Everyone was in awe and the punches just flew off the shelves. She also has 2 books out. We sold all we had yesterday, but will be getting in more. Let Lila know if you want one so she can make sure to order enough. There are still some samples int he store so you can see how beautiful her flowers are. I'm hoping we can invite her back for another event.
And of course when there are babies, everyone wants to take a moment to hold them.
Katri had a lot of fun doing a Make and Take. We made lapel pins using chipboard and the new outline stickers. They turned out beautiful!
It really was a fun day. Thank you to all who worked hard to get the store in shape, helping with Make and Takes and making the day successful!
